The scout centre that subscribe the network of Italian Scout centre should have these main features:

1. It is an educational area where young people and adults can carry out all the activities appropriate for their age and their training.
2. It expects from all the users the adherence to the values highlighted by scout and guide law.
3. It accommodates kids, teenagers, adults, Italian and foreigner scout groups, and groups in general. It promotes the dialogue, the interaction, the project sharing and activities among people with respect of all cultural differences.
4. It interacts with reference scout association and with all the other centres of the network in order to provide an appropriate service.
5. It interacts with the territory and with public institutions with the purpose of promoting development. It guarantees also environmental protection and development with the respects of in force legislation.
6. It has areas and facilities suitable for every scout activity in each period of the year, with particular attention to outdoor activity.
7. Thanks to all the volunteers, it offers a good level of educational and technical skills able to guarantee the good working for the centre and a high level of quality for all the proposed activities.
8. It is a non-profit organization. All the contributions received are used to manage the centre and the activities and to the maintenance and improvement of facilities.

This Charter was approved in St. Antimo the 11th of October 2008, confirmed in Rome the 9th of May 2009 and adopted by the partners and added in the statute of the association.
